White Sands

Earlier during our summer trek we stopped by beautiful White Sands National Park while visiting with some precious friends.  The sand dunes looked like hills of salt (or sugar).   In addition to being stunning, it was a great fun.

 Our friends shared their sledding experience and sleds with us...just like going down hills in the snow (with a little more work involved).  :)

Will LOVED digging in all the beautiful white sand.  It was a little damp a few inches down, so made for even better digging and building.
