Strawberry Festival

The family attended a local Strawberry Festival and a good time was had by all!

They had a combine simulator, which the children loved, and I thought was fun, as it brought back memories of my childhood riding in the combine with my grandpa.  :)

Each child got to choose a ride.  Hannah chose these "jumping" trucks.

Growing Clara

Here's a few pics of our growing girl!  She's 8 months old now, and a joy to the whole family.  💖

Strawberry Picking

The boys and I read a book about plants (including strawberry plants) and took a field trip to the strawberry fields a few weeks ago, and they had a great time. They worked hard picking berries, and had fun playing afterward at the great play area.  Following our time there, I thought we needed to stop at the farm stand for a little ice cream treat.  All in all, a pretty great field trip for all, even baby Clara enjoyed her time outside.  

I thought this was the coolest boat race setup I'd ever seen.  They had to pump the water to propel the boats forward down the pvc pipes back to their side.

I thought it pretty brave of Will to take the biggest tractor toy through this brush tunnel, since it JUST fit through it.  I thought for sure he was going to get stuck in it, but he made it through without a hitch!

Preschool Grad and Pics

Hannah went to a local preschool this past year, and had her graduation, which I find both absolutely ridiculous and heartwarming all at the same time.  😊😏

Family Race Day

Recently we completed a family run together, something we have done before, but the boys both ran this time, rather than riding.  It was 1.5 miles long.  Daddy ran with Will, pushing Hannah in the jogging stroller, while I pushed Clara in another stroller, running with Jadon.  Both boys did a stellar job.  :)

Pre-race, Daddy was having fun with the bigger children, letting them "ride" the jogger down the hill. 

Even baby Clara got a race number.

All that racing exhausted Clara.  ;)  In reality, she slept through most of the race.
