We are going to...

BOSTON!!!  Yea!!  We have been awaiting an answer as to where we are headed next and last week we finally got it.  We were either going to Monterey, CA to the naval college or to Boston, MA to Massachusettes Institute of Technology (MIT).  We were hoping and praying for Boston, as MIT is an amazing school and a dream for an engineer like my husband.  Also, we both were excited about the prospect of all that Boston has to offer, historically and otherwise.  Technically, MIT is in Cambridge, which neighbors Boston.  Anyhow, we are SUPER excited and will be moving there in about 2 months in order for Carl to start his Masters program for the Navy.  Another great thing is that we will be there for around 3 years, which may be the longest we ever stay anywhere!  We wonder if our baby boy, who will learn to talk there, will pick up their accent...So Praise the Lord for allowing us to go there and allowing Carl to get into MIT.  What a privilege.  Speaking of praises and prayers--if you remember, please pray for us to find a good church there soon after arriving.  Thanks!

Boston is awesome! We went there several times and never saw all the historical stuff. Stay away from the North end with all the Italina restaurants though. You will gain 10lbs.

That's Italian BTW

We always welcome visitors! And thanks Tommy. :) Yes, I got that Italina is Italian. I am sure we will be visiting that area, as we have a fondness for Italian food, having lived there. Thanks for the info.

We lived up in Groton, CT! Loved it over on the East Coast..SO much to do and everything is SO close! You drive 2 hours away and are in a different state, here in WA you drive 2 hours away and you are still in WA!! I love Plymouth, MA! I remember a few different churches that were "good" 5+ years ago...not sure if they still are. You can always email jason sailing and he can help you out! We just found my friend a good church in NH.

Boston, how exciting! We have been there a few times and LOVED it. Hopefully you like Dunkin' Donuts and the Red Sox. :) We got to go to Fenway both times we were there and there is nothing else like it!
